Today, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinian students during their commemoration of the Nakba at Haifa University in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948.
Wafa Agency stated that Palestinian students gathered in large numbers in the university’s courtyard, carried Palestinian flags, sang the anthem (My Home), and raised slogans against the occupation and its aggressive policies towards the Palestinians, indicating that the occupation forces stormed the university, assaulted the students and arrested a number of them.
Israeli settlers also gathered at the entrance to the university and attacked Palestinian students.
