With the aim of activating and revitalizing the cultural situation, the Directorate of Culture in As-Suwayda opened a cultural window in the village of Al-Tira in the countryside of the governorate.

The opening ceremony, which was held in the social village hall, included a lyrical concert hosted by the Donia El Fan Association, led by artist Daoud Radwan, and included a bouquet of patriotic and heritage songs, in addition to artistic dance performances for the children of the village and cultural activities for a number of talents in it.

The Director of Culture in As-Suwayda, Laila Abu Fakhr, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the opening of the window comes within the framework of the Ministry of Culture’s directives to expand and disseminate cultural and intellectual knowledge and facilitate its delivery to all segments of society and the largest number of citizens, especially in villages and rural areas, and to provide an opportunity for talented and interested persons to participate and contribute to cultural activities and movement. .

Abu Fakhr indicated that the window, like others, represents the nucleus of future cultural centers and was provided with a library that includes a diverse and valuable collection of books, and it will be permanently supplemented with the latest and most important publications, in addition to developing a monthly plan for cultural activities in it.

The opening was attended by official and popular events.
