Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its request to the UN Security Council to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and to stop the continuing crimes of the occupation against them.
In a statement carried by Wafa Agency, the Foreign Ministry condemned the barbaric occupation of the Al-Aqsa courtyards and its assault with live bullets and lethal weapons on the Palestinians in it to revive the last days of the month of Ramadan, noting that the occupation forces stormed the office of the director of the mosque and seized the keys to the doors of Al-Aqsa and suppressed the press crews in an attempt to conceal the truth of their crimes. .
The Foreign Ministry affirmed that providing protection to the Palestinians is not a privilege or a favor, but rather a duty and a legitimate right for a people under occupation facing the brutality and crimes that the International Criminal Court has expressed and has dealt with as war crimes and crimes against humanity, stressing that the time has come for the Security Council to assume its legal and moral responsibilities towards the occupation crimes against the Palestinians.
