The port of Tanjung Pelepas, in Malaysia, holds the current record: it is already the 31st time this year that container ships have failed to call at this seaport, which nevertheless appears well on the roadmap of their Asia-Europe or Asia-United States route.
At Port Klang, Malaysia's largest port site, that number of missed stops has increased by nearly 1,000 percent since the start of the year.
In Europe, the situation is a little better.
