During the operation, officers issued a total of 1,733 Fixed Penalty Notices for traffic violations or public cleanliness and obstruction, and immediately towed 18 illegally parked vehicles that caused serious obstruction and hindered the pick-up and drop-off of passengers at the bus stop, and 10 illegally parked vehicles were towed away. A vehicle inspection order is issued for a vehicle suspected of being illegally modified.
In addition, officers also issued 25 summonses, which were mainly related to careless driving, riding bicycles not in accordance with traffic lights, being within 15 meters of signal-controlled crossings or footbridges and not using these facilities to cross the road, Carry out or cause or allow others to carry out vehicle repairs, etc. on the road.
During this period, officers found a 17-year-old non-Chinese man suspected of illegally driving an electric motorcycle. He was suspected of "driving without a valid driving license", "driving an unregistered and unlicensed vehicle", and "using a vehicle without third-party insurance". ", "Driving a motorcycle without wearing an approved protective helmet" was arrested.
The arrested man has been released on bail pending investigation and must report to the police in early September.
