After moving to the new league, FSV Höhenrain gives the cheeky newcomer, but has personnel worries.

Höhenrain – The new season for FSV Höhenrain will be twice as exciting.

Coach Peter Hösl's team not only has to deal with the new division of the league, they also have to deal with completely new competitors.

"We haven't played against any of them yet.

There's a lot that's new, I find that very interesting," says the FSV coach, looking at the group opponents ASC Geretsried, FF Geretsried, TuS Geretsried II, SV Eurasburg-Beuerberg, SG Ascholding/Thanning and SV Bad Tölz.

The latter is one of his favourites.

"Bad Tölz and the second team from TuS will definitely play a good role," says Hösl.

Basically, he sees the teams on a similar level: "You can beat anyone, but you can also lose against anyone - I'm very positive about that."

Otherwise, the mood is currently rather bad.

"Too many injuries," complains the coach.

In addition, one or the other defeat in the preparation obviously hit the mind.

For example the 1:6 against Fortuna Unterhaching in the last preparatory game or a 0:4 against the state league U19 of SV Planegg-Krailling.

"They were strong opponents, you shouldn't ignore that," puts Hösl into perspective, who classifies the preparation as "not so good" overall.

"The training was great, the effort was okay, but the games and results weren't that great."

However, some personal details are more worrying.

Johannes Ohlhof is currently absent due to an ankle ligament injury, Adrian Lech is suffering with a syndesmosis ligament and lateral ligament and David Lech was seriously injured in an accident at work.

There are also two students, Simon Pauli and Maximilian Lutz.

And Michael Huber is slowly starting again after a break of more than a year.

Despite the new division of the league (“I find the new system very interesting”), unknown opponents and personal worries, Hösl would like to take the next step with his team.

He places great hopes in the youngsters Andreas Mühr and Johannes Feirer.

"They're in a good mood, they're well on the way to forming an axis, together with an experienced player like Benedikt Huber, they just have to take a step forward," says the coach, who also has clear ideas for the new season : “My goal is to reach the promotion round.

Then we would also be save with a view to the relegation round - and everything is open at the top.

Although the district league would come too early for us.”
