The Russian currency continues to strengthen its positions against its European and American counterparts, and the euro traded today below the level of 62 rubles for the first time since May 2017.
The RIA Novosti news agency reported that the euro exchange rate on the Moscow Stock Exchange fell at the beginning of trading by 4.7 rubles to the level of 62 rubles.
After that, the European currency was traded at the level of 65.73 rubles, while the dollar was traded at the level of 463.04 rubles.
