The Russian Consulate in the American city of Houston announced the resumption of banking services, after they were suspended last March.
The Russian Consul General in Houston, Alexander Zakharov, told Sputnik, "A few days ago, we received a letter about the approval to open the bank account. The consulate in this American city was able to resolve the issue of resuming its access to banking services."
Last March, the Bank of America, against the backdrop of the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, froze the accounts of the Russian consulates in Houston and New York.
And the Russian Consulate General in New York announced earlier that this problem was solved.
