In a conversation with "Israel Today", the sister of the suspect in the murder of his son shared what the family is going through: "An atomic bomb fell on us - but we are united" • The father's detention was extended by 11 days

"An atomic bomb fell on us," says the father of the father from Kiryat Gat, who stabbed his 14-year-old son to death last week.

"The shock is inconceivable. It is shocking when a person's mental health is taken away from him as a result of destructive treatment. At the moment I can not elaborate on the matter. The police have arrested the therapist and we believe that with God's help the law will do everything to prevent charlatan therapists from playing souls."

The father, who was under attack and hallucinations, is still hospitalized and undergoing a psychiatric assessment.

His detention was extended by 11 days.

The detention of the therapist, the suspect who provided dangerous drugs to the father as part of illegal treatment, was extended by a week.

The family members on the mother's side and on the father's side wrapped the wife and the shocked children during the shiva.

The disaster did not tear the family apart and they sat together at the holiday table as well.

"What gives us a lot of strength is the family," the nurse says.

.

The rift is huge and terrible.

My sister-in-law asks everyone to pray that her husband will recover and return to being the amazing husband and father he was.

She and the children will hold Seder night at my parents' house, grandparents, sadly the two dear and wise sons will not be there to ask and answer the holiday difficulties.

Together they will raise their cry to God for complete redemption and for the next year in built Jerusalem.

"Please, join us, each in his own words, a prayer to the Creator of the world, who will give strength to us all, who will hasten our redemption and we will soon see the good."

"Prayers who will recover"

How is your brother?

"Unfortunately we have not yet been given the opportunity to meet our brother. We all want to hug him and cry with him for the terrible destruction. We pray that he will recover and be able to endure when the dimensions of the disaster become clear to him. This gentle man, who has never raised a hand on anyone, will need much support "To sink into the abysses of grief, and to rebuild his life with his dear family. My dear brother loved everyone, religious and secular. He believed in the good that is in every human being. Hundreds of comforters from all corners of the public came to tell us about his greatness and kindness."

Does not disaster create a rift in faith?

"When we came to our parents in the middle of the night to announce the terrible disaster, amid the endless crying, I asked my dear mother: Do you love God? And mother answered: 'I love him as much as possible, and I have no complaints about him.' 'Just when the world suddenly becomes so unstable "You discover that the only support is only God. If we understand what life means, then we know in deep knowledge that everything is from God, even what we do not understand. God loves each of his sons and envelops us in mercy and gives us the strength to cope."

The nurse says that during the shiva the two little girls who lost their brother sat down with their mother, and said to her, "Mom, let's find out what good things we have in life."

Among other things, the girls counted the family and environmental support.

"The policewoman who sat with the girls on the terrible night also admired the family unity, and their maturity. The special family connection in this house was a symbol. Every evening the family gathered together for an open and supportive conversation about the day's experiences. The connection between my brother and son was close and loving."

The nurse says that during the shiva the bereaved mother said with flooded eyes: "The most beautiful picture for me was to see my husband and eldest son, loved as his soul, going out together in the morning for prayer. I loved looking out the window and seeing them walking together ".
