After the half-sanction in Deputies of the bill that involves the Federal Tax Commission (CFI) to endorse the withdrawal of co-participation funds from the City, the deputy head of the Buenos Aires Government, Diego Santilli, refused to negotiate the numbers with the national Executive , as indicated in the voted norm, and said that they will go back to the Supreme Court of Justice.

"We are going to continue filing appeals before the Court, because it was also suggested that the resource numbers will be discussed for 60 days. And I say: where are you going to go to discuss? A sloping field, with a referee What does the national government put it and with a result already known? "Santilli wondered, ironic.

Speaking to

Radio Continental

, he continued: "The result is the number that they put in the budget of the resources they are going to transfer. And the referee is the CFI, which has already made the decision. What type of negotiation is it: where there is a chair alone? ".

In a marathon session, which lasted more than 18 hours, the Chamber of Deputies approved this Tuesday the project that removes funds from the co-participation to the City of Buenos Aires, but as changes were made, the rule must be endorsed by the Senate, which had voted for her on October 3.

The norm was approved with 129 affirmative votes, 118 negative and 7 abstentions, in a session that began on Monday before 14:00 and lasted until 8:20 on Tuesday.

Regarding the changes that were introduced, as decided during the early morning, the amount to be set for the transfer of the Police must be agreed between the National Government and the Buenos Aires Headquarters within a period of 60 days.

The text sanctioned by the Senate established a fixed sum of 24,500 million pesos updated quarterly, but now it was established that this amount must be agreed in the agreement that the Nation and the City of Buenos Aires must sign.

However, Santilli was blunt about it.

He insisted that they go to the Supreme Court and called the measure "an attack of an enormity, so hard, so violent, on the City that has never been seen."
