Let's start with the bottom line - no, apparently aliens did not pay a surprise visit above a row of telescopes that are busy searching for celestial phenomena far in space.
So why are we telling you about it?
Because the website space.com reported a "close encounter" that took place at the Gemini Observatory on the Big Island of Hawaii with a cloud that quite a few people associate with UFOs

Lens clouds, sometimes called "UFO clouds", are formed at high altitudes because the mountains cause the strong gusts of wind to rise up and then the compressed water vapor creates a variety of rare and slightly surreal shapes. Lens clouds remind many of flying saucers made of fur and are reported as such.
