The Bahraini club, Umm Al-Hassam, which recently joined the second-tier football club, has signed Syrian coach Radwan Al-Abrash for one season.
Al-Abrash explained to SANA that his mission with the Bahraini club rising from the amateur league to the second division is limited to the first stage in establishing and building the team and stabilizing its presence by relying on the club’s sons with the possibility of vaccinating its ranks with a professional player.
Al-Abrash stressed that his experience with Umm Al-Hassam will be a basis for upgrading and obtaining better job opportunities in light of the lack of availability at the local level.
It is noteworthy that coach Radwan Al-Abrash was the assistant coach of the first Syrian national team, Fajr Ibrahim, in the recent Asian qualifiers. He also worked as a coach for Al-Ittihad, Ahly Aleppo, Police and Al-Hurriya clubs locally and Al-Arabi Al-Kuwaiti for two seasons abroad.
