: the Senate Law Commission on Wednesday approved the bill aimed at banning "conversion therapy", while making some adjustments.
Adopted by the National Assembly on October 5, the text punishes with two years' imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 euros
"repeated practices, behaviors or statements aimed at modifying or repressing sexual orientation or gender identity, true or supposed, of a person and having the effect of altering his physical or mental health ”

It will be examined in public session on December 7.
