The MoDem deputy of Haut-Rhin Bruno Fuchs tabled an amendment to the 2022 budget to extend the tax exemption for tips to this sector.

It aims to support a profession which has suffered from the Covid-19 pandemic, and which "

Concretely, with this measure, taxi and VTC drivers would no longer have to pay income tax or contributions on tips given by their customers, whether in cash or via payment by bank card.
