In the coming weeks, the court in Israel will have to decide the fate of six-year-old Eitan Biran, the only survivor of the terrible cable car disaster in Italy four months ago.

The judges will have to decide who will raise Eitan, whether it will be his paternal aunt, Aya, who is currently also defined as Eitan's legal guardian and lives in Italy, or Gali Peleg, his maternal aunt who lives in Petah Tikva.

They are both interested in adopting Eitan Biran after losing his parents and younger brother, Tom.

In recent months, there has been a strong battle between the two families - the Israeli family on the part of the mother who was killed, Tali Peleg Biran, and the Italian family on the part of the father who was killed, Amit Biran. It is doubtful whether the battle that is extensively covered in the two countries will contribute to Eitan's peace of mind, which he so desperately needs after the past tragedy. The struggle reached its peak last weekend, when Eitan was transferred to Israel by his grandfather, Shmuel Peleg. Now the grandfather, is suspected of kidnapping and is under house arrest. Today (Saturday) pictures of Eitan with his grandfather from Shmulik's house in Petah Tikva were published. "Eitan is happy, wrapped in his family members, and is in the place he should be, in his home in Israel," Shmuel Peleg said yesterday in his first interview with Ulpan Shishi.

The sincerity of both families leaves no doubt, and it seems that in any case Ethan will earn a warm and loving home.

It seems that the starting point of the Israeli family fighting for Eitan is weaker - the child was transferred from one country to another without permission from the legal guardian, Aya.

In addition, it was recently reported that Shmuel Peleg has a criminal record - he was convicted of violent offenses against his ex-wife, Etty Cohen, during the 2009 divorce.

Finally, it is clear to everyone that the center of Eitan Biran's life is in Italy - from the age of a month and a half the child lived there with his parents and came to Israel only during vacations.

In an interview with News 12, Shmuel Peleg explained that he did not understand why his actions were illegal and what led him to the moment when he decided to board Eitan on a private plane that would take him to Israel. "I am in a difficult struggle. For four months I have been in mad mourning, in dizziness. My family is shattered. My thoughts are solely for the good of the child, the good of Eitan."

"My life changed on May 23, we lost five people in a horrific disaster. A catastrophe caused by emotionless and greedy people - three generations were wiped out in an instant, and that's something that leaves you with a huge gap and hole in your heart. You are a completely different person afterwards." . When asked if he understood that his actions were illegal, he replied: "I really do not understand what you are saying. I received a legal opinion, I passed with an orderly stamping of passports."

Peleg is convinced that he saved Eitan: "I believe that Eitan will one day grow up and say: 'Grandpa, you did everything for me, you saved me. And my daughter, who will one day meet me in heaven, will be proud of me that I saved her son, that I brought him to his house."

Etty Cohen, Eitan's grandmother who was interviewed tonight on Channel 13, also leaves no doubt about her sincerity regarding her desire for her granddaughter's well-being. "We are doing this war for only one reason, I will turn the world upside down. If we have to stop our lives today for this child that is what we are doing. We are all for Ethan. Around Ethan. Only Ethan," she added.

Peleg's family say that their goal is to fulfill the desire of the parents of Ethan, who planned to return to live in Israel after a colleague Byrne Memorial finishes his medical studies in Italy. Family say the young couple planned to return to Israel next year and began to plan buying a home.

In addition, Peleg told News 12 in an interview that he was convinced that the guardianship set in Italy was temporary. "The judge told me: 'This is temporary, this is temporary.' There is no record of this discussion, no signature of anything. No one sits down and explains to me in detail what the meanings of these things are.For a moment, I did not give up on the guardianship of Eitan. "

On the other hand, in the Italian family, it is believed that this is a kidnapping.

The family claims that the main consideration is the well-being of the child whose center of life is in Italy, and they are concerned that in the coming days Ethan may undergo "brainwashing" by the Israeli family.

"I'm not Eitan's mother, I can not be Eitan's mother but I am the mother figure at home. For the first two and a half months, almost three months, we sleep on our mattress in the nursery so that if Eitan wakes up at night, we are there, I am there next to him. And I "I can only hope for the full cooperation of the authorities in Israel with the authorities in Italy, until Eitan returns home, because this is his home, this is his home," Eitan Biran, Eitan's aunt, said yesterday in response to the Peleg family.
