The Islamist attack on February 3, 2017, was the first in a series of six attacks perpetrated that year against the internal security forces (police, gendarmes, Sentinel soldiers).
Abdallah el-Hamahmi, 33-year-old Egyptian, appears from Monday until June 24, before the specially composed assize court.
He is on trial for "attempted terrorist assassinations on persons holding public authority" and "criminal terrorist criminal association".
