GENOA - With the museums once again accessible to the public, the long wave of long-awaited inaugurations and reopening continues: many events not to be missed, such as the Forlì exhibition on Dante and those of Bologna and Genoa on Andrea Pazienza and the photographers of Magnum agency.

GENOA - 70 years of news, history and customs of our country told with author's shots: the great exhibition "L'Italia di Magnum. From Robert Capa to Paolo Pellegrin" opens on May 6 at Palazzo Ducale (in the Loggia degli Abati) , curated by Walter Guadagnini with Arianna Visani. Set up until July 18, the exhibition gathers more than 200 photographs taken by 20 great photographers of international importance (in addition to Capa and Pellegrin, also Erwitt, Scianna, Parr among others) to outline a fascinating intertwining of large and small events, characters and places in Italy from the post-war period to today.

BOLOGNA - Palazzo Albergati pays homage to the brilliant talent of Andrea Pazienza in the exhibition "Up to the extreme", which takes up the title of the first draft of what would later become "The last days of Pompeo", the famous work of the cartoonist, cartoonist , illustrator and painter who passed away at the age of 32 in 1988. Scheduled from May 7 to September 26, the exhibition presents to the public over 100 works - including original comic strips and paintings - from the archives of the people closest to him, such as the brother, sister, wife and others. "Safe and Sound" is the first anthology in an Italian institution by Aldo Giannotti, staged at MamBo from May 5th to September 5th. Curated by Lorenzo Balbi with Sabrina Samorì,the exhibition explores the concepts of safety and protection, considered from different perspectives, from the existential to the technological one up to the rules that govern social life.

NAPLES - An exhibition entirely oriented to expressing themes such as politics, religion, violence, gender differences, the role of women in the social context from a female point of view, which for the first time brings together Claire Fontaine (artistic collective founded in 2004) and Marinella Senatore (1977) to an artist of the twentieth century, Pasquarosa (1896 - 1973): at the Diego Aragona Pignatelli Cortes Museum from 8 May to 27 June, 35 works created by three different interpreters for history, generation and culture, associated by a common sensitivity towards the themes of individual freedom, in particular that of women.

ROME - As a sign of continuity with "A visual protest", "All about Banksy" arrives at the Chiostro del Bramante from May 5th, a further study of the poetics of the mysterious and famous artist. Created thanks to the contribution of Butterfly & David Chaumet - Butterfly Art News, which for the first time opened their archive, the exhibition, until January 9, 2022, offers a complete picture of Banksy's art through about 250 works from private collections and thanks also to an important documentary section consisting of photographs, reports and videos. "Ninanana. A room for Casanova" is Giuseppe Salvatori's solo show in the Antica Fornace del Canova (place where the famous Venetian sculptor forged the sketches for his works) from 8 to 29 May. Curated by Fiorenza D 'Alessandro and Alice Rubbini, the exhibition presents a large tempera painting on wood in which Salvatori, also with the help of a text by Emanuele Trevi and a music by Simonpietro Cussino, pays homage to Casanova starting from a lyric composed by the Venetian seducer for Nana, his muse.

FORLI '- Cimabue, Giotto, Beato Angelico, Michelangelo, Tintoretto, Canova, Andrea del Castagno, alongside the pre-Raphaelites, the Macchiaioli and some great artists of the twentieth century, such as Galileo Chini, Plinio Nomellini, Felice Casorati, Lucio Fontana, Pablo Picasso: until 11 July at the Museums of San Domenico, in collaboration with the Uffizi, is set up "Dante. The vision of art", a great exhibition that tells the full story of the figure of the father of the Divine Comedy, on the seventh centenary of his death . Traveling in the history of art between the Middle Ages and the contemporary age, the exhibition presents a selection of 300 works from the thirteenth to the twentieth century, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, illustrations and manuscripts.

MILAN - At the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana from April 29 to September 12, the exhibition "Leafing through the Ambrosiana Comedy" with a precious selection of Dante's library patrimony covering a chronological period from the fourteenth to the twentieth century. Among the works on display also the print of Aldo Manuzio of 1502, edited by Bembo, bearing one of the first examples of the italic type, by Francesco Griffo da Bologna, and that of the Poema - Firenze, all'Insegna dell'Ancora, 1817- 1819 - dedicated to Antonio Canova, with 125 large woodcuts.
