The Museum of Contemporary Visual Culture M+ will open at the end of this year. The Board of Directors of the West Kowloon Cultural District Administration will hold a meeting today (5th). The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the West Kowloon Cultural District Administration Feng Cheng Shuyi reported that there will be a three-week opening after the opening. Activities, including talks, guided tours and other programs, and the Art Plaza flyover connecting the MTR Kowloon Station and the Art Park has started, hoping to cooperate with the opening of M+.

Acting Chief Executive Officer of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority Feng Cheng Shuyi said that M+ is undergoing interior decoration works and will open at the end of the year, followed by a three-week opening event, including talks, guided tours and other programs.

Feng Cheng Shuyi also reported that the construction of the Art Plaza flyover connecting the Art Park and the MTR station is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by the end of this year to coincide with the opening schedule of M+.



According to the inspection data, the Art Plaza flyover was built by the contractor Kinmen Construction. After completion, it will provide an all-weather barrier-free passage connecting the development project above the MTR Kowloon Station with the West Kowloon Cultural District Art Plaza, the new M+ Museum, and existing art Parks and promenades.
