Among other things, in the last decade he participated in the film "Youth" by Tom Shoval, and played the character of the older Amos Oz in the film "A Tale of Love and Darkness"

Theater, television and film actor Alex Peleg has died at the age of 83 - this was announced today (Friday).

Peleg left behind a wife, two daughters and two grandchildren.

Peleg has participated in dozens of plays, films and TV series.

Among other things, he played Nick in Habima in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", Arthur in "Tango", Ricardo in "Acting" and many other roles in the National Theater, as well as in the Haifa Theater, Beer Sheva Theater, Beit Lessin.

And Herzliya Ensemble Theater.

In the 1970s and 1980s he put on two solo plays directed by Yitzhak Shauli.

He has appeared on television in the series "Masada", "Golda", "Kasztner", "The Institute", "Doom Lev", "Mae First Sony" and more.

He has also starred in a variety of films, including "The Youth," "Aya: A Fictional Autobiography," "The Similar Tree is Busy" and more.

In 2015, he played the character of the older Amos Oz in Natalie Portman's film "A Tale of Love and Darkness."



In 2016, Peleg won the EMI Award for Lifetime Achievement.
