Chilean scientists presented a new species of dinosaur, the Arackar Licanantay.
According to the researchers, they estimate that it measured around 6.3 meters in length and inhabited what is now known as the Atacama region, at the end of the Cretaceous period, about 66 to 80 million years ago.
The fossils of this new specimen were located in the 1990s. They are the most complete found in western South America, they correspond to a femur, a humerus, the ischium and vertebral elements of the neck and back.
