Two years ago, Jérémy, 39, left his job as a key account sales engineer to become a cabinetmaker.

The one who until now was "stuck behind a screen all day", is then attracted by an idea: that of moving from an office life to working with his hands.

“The satisfaction of seeing the fruit of his labor become, exist before his eyes, by building a staircase for a couple or furniture for a restaurant, for example… All of this appealed to me,” he explains.

His training completed, he found a job in central France.

After a few months which he compares to a "honeymoon where everything is beautiful", he becomes disillusioned.

Too much work, lack of time for hobbies, less money too.

Last May, he returned to La Défense.

“Today, everything must make sense;

his hobbies, his job, everything.

But in the end, if fulfillment becomes something imposed by society, isn't it the snake biting its own tail?
