A burglary occurred in a luxury house in Repulse Bay in the southern district of Hong Kong Island.
At about midnight today (25th), the male head of the household, Guo (50 years old), of a unit at "Hei Lian Yuan" at No. 123 Repulse Bay Road. Behind the house, he saw that the house was ransacked, and he immediately called the police.
After counting, it was confirmed that a batch of watches and jewellery were missing, with a total value of about 2.9 million yuan.
As far as the scene is concerned, the outer wall of the building near No. 121 Repulse Bay Road is being scaffolded for maintenance.
The police initially did not rule out the culprit climbing the shed in the building and then sneaking into the building where the crime was committed. Afterwards, the security guards were asked to investigate the case, and the case was classified as "burglary" and the case was handed over to the Western District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up.
