We tried, we really tried.
We piously accompany the current season of "Master Chef", accepting with understanding all sorts of more or much more annoying effects, submissively accepting the format limitations and commitment of the marketing department, the eyeballs of the judges and the general righteousness of a rating monster about not saying anything bad.
Until the French toast but.

When Doe Jenny's mother wanted to pamper her, she would stand in her tiny kitchen, dip a uniform loaf in a batter of eggs and milk, fry, dip the slices in sugar and serve her warm and sweet.

Which challah is recommended to use, what is the ideal slice thickness, what added flavor will make it best and also how can you save on dirty dishes?
Watch.

"French Tile Toast", Liat Shirit

Liat Shirit took a basic and successful recipe for French toast, but instead of frying she decided to go for baking in the oven, and add to the batter beforehand what she called a "decent dish of chocolate".
The result is a rather shaky combination of a soft chocolate cake and a classic French toast dish, and that's not all.
