Lewandowski and Haaland at the rendezvous
They were expected.
They did not disappoint.
Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland both stood out this early evening Saturday.
The Pole first responded to Julian Brandt's opener by concluding with his right foot a transition launched by Thomas Müller (9th), before giving the advantage and victory to his team from the penalty spot, in the last quarter hour of play (77th).
The Norwegian, not yet at the top of his form, for his part equalized just after half-time with a splendid curled shot with his right foot (48th).
However, insufficient to obtain a positive result at home.

A spectacular Klassiker
A completely crazy match. This Saturday, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich delivered a real spectacle. The two formations, carried forward, have never ceased to try to project themselves in numbers, to put intensity, aggressiveness in the duels and to punctuate the meeting. There were many opportunities on both sides, with five goals in the end. The scenario, completely disjointed, also made the confrontation totally crazy. A Klassiker who kept all his promises!
Kingsley Coman twirling
In this Klassiker, Kingsley Coman was able to pull out of the game. Positioned on the right side of the Bavarian attack, the French international was one of the most prominent players of the meeting, obtaining a large number of dangerous situations and creating several opportunities for his teammates.
His involvement was rewarded just before half-time.
After a missed clearance from the defense of Borussia Dortmund, the tricolor winger inherited the ball, controlled and then hit hard to temporarily give the advantage to his team (44th).
A full service.
Flops
Guilty Hummels
A game to forget for Mats Hummels. The experienced central defender had a very difficult start to the evening. By completely missing his transmission and allowing Thomas Müller to launch a counter-attack, he is mainly responsible for the equalization of Robert Lewandowski (9th) at the start of the game. He is also at fault on the victorious goal of the Pole since it is he who commits - apparently involuntarily - a hand in his area resulting in a penalty (77th).
Julian Brandt stunned
These are images that we do not like to see. In an aerial duel, Julian Brandt and Dayot Upamecano collided violently at the level of the head. The German fell to the ground, almost lifeless. The players immediately called on the doctors to intervene. Fortunately, the author of the opening scoring (5th) was quickly taken care of. Completely stunned, he had to give up his place, no doubt to be placed in concussion protocol.
Lucas Hernandez injured
This is the other bad news of the evening.
While opposing a powerful strike, Lucas Hernandez injured himself.
His ankle has presumably turned.
The Frenchman was taken care of by doctors from Bayern Munich.
Although he resumed his place for a very short period of time, he was however quickly replaced by Julian Nagelsmann.
Hoping that his injury is not too serious.
