The Clermont awakening
After two defeats in three games, Clermont bounces back and now ranks fourth in the championship.
The commitment, the desire, the aggressiveness... everything came together this Sunday evening on the side of the Auvergne players.
Jono Gibbes' men showed great realism, especially in the first half.
They entered the opposing box twice and scored two tries.
And the first comes very early.
After several passes from left to right, Penaud receives the ball and does a good job horizontally and serves his captain Iturria who jumps to score the try at the end of the line (5th).
Clermont's realism does not stop there.

Plisson met his old team this Sunday evening and showed no mercy.
The number 10 of Clermont disgusted his former teammates with skill and accuracy.
He scored the three decisive penalties late in the game.
While Clermont had just been equalized, Plisson takes responsibility and transforms a first penalty (74th).

The scorer does not stop there and goes on with a converted penalty 45 meters to the left of the posts (19-13) before concluding with another 25 meters to the left of the posts (22-13)!
And as a symbol, it is he who releases the ball and ends the meeting.
FLOPS
La Rochelle's lack of discipline
The Stade Rochelais, yet undefeated so far, has not shown the same face as since the start of the season.
And this first defeat is partly due to a lack of discipline and precision.
