It's a clear round for the Quick-Step team in this Tour de France 2022. After the success of the Belgian Yves Lampaert on Friday, it is the Dutchman Fabio Jakobsen who wins this Tuesday in this second Danish stage between Roskilde and Nyborg, marked by the crossing of the Great Belt.
Victim of a fall 20 kilometers from the finish, Lampaert managed to get back into the peloton but lost his yellow jersey which went to another Belgian, Wout Van Aert (Jumbo-Visma).

From the first moments of the race, four runners escaped, including two Frenchmen from the B&B hotels team, Pierre Rolland and Cyril Barthe.
They were accompanied by Dane Magnus Cort Nielsen (EF) and Norwegian Sven Erik Bystrom (Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert).
The two Scandinavians will then give way to the two tricolors, 138 kilometers from the finish, before engaging in a fierce duel to obtain the first polka dot jersey of this Tour 2022. After a few fourth category climbs, it is the Dane who wins this first award for best climber.
Jakobsen, sprint king
A little later, the two Frenchmen in the breakaway were caught by the peloton shortly before the halfway mark.
158 kilometers from the end, this same peloton joins Cort Nielsen then the Norwegian Bystrom to end the breakaway.
Then it's time for the dreaded crossing of the Grand-Belt bridge, located 70 meters above sea level, at the end of the stage.
In less difficult conditions than expected with a headwind, the yellow jersey Yves Lampaert is involved in a crash with only twenty kilometers left to go.
Enough to threaten his status as leader of the general classification for a few moments, but the Belgian managed to get back into the peloton, well helped by his teammate Michael Morkov.

The end of the stage is marked by a big crash in the peloton less than two kilometers from the finish.
It is the French Florian Sénéchal (Quick-Step) who is at the origin and in which Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Fenix) or Daniel Martinez (Ineos Grenadiers) are trained.
At the front of the peloton, the sprint for victory begins and in that game it was the Dutchman Fabio Jakobsen who won ahead of Wout Van Aert and the Dane Mads Pedersen (Trek-Segafredo) who completed the podium.
Caught in the fall, the favorite and double title holder Tadej Pogacar finished far away, almost four minutes away, but will be credited with the time of the best.
No injury a priori for the Slovenian.
