Sending of the tax bills frozen again: according to what is learned, the government and the majority are at work to postpone the departure of the collection machine, currently stopped until 30 June.
The ongoing mediation could lead to a further postponement of 2 months, until August with the resumption of activities from 1 September. The novelty could come with an amendment to the Sostegni bis decree, currently being examined by the Budget Committee of the Chamber. On the subject there are numerous proposals for changes including the Northern League one to extend the stop until the end of the year.
"The League's proposal passes: summer without tax bills, now we are working on balance and excerpt and scrapping. It is a breath of fresh air for 18 million Italians, who in a moment of real difficulty like this risked receiving 163 million bills" . Lega leader Matteo Salvini says so.
