The Hamburg Towers remain on the road to success in the basketball Bundesliga.
The team of coach Pedro Calles won on Friday 79:77 (33:37) at the EWE Baskets Oldenburg and took their third win of the season.
The best thrower from Hamburg was Jaylon Brown with 26 points.
Oldenburg - Until the middle of the first quarter, the game was largely even.
After that, the Towers fell seven points behind despite good defensive performance, as they did not use their chances of throwing.
The ball only found its way into the basket in three of 13 three-way attempts, with the two-way throws the rate was 50 percent.
Even after the break, the guests ran behind a clear deficit for a long time, but were able to fight their way towards Oldenburg at the end of the third round.
Thanks largely to Jaylon Brown, the tide turned in the Towers' favor in the last few minutes.
