After the complaints from the Maccabi Haifa fans and MK Yuli Edelstein's appeal, the Minister of Transportation Merav Michaeli announced this evening (Monday) that she had responded to the requests and confirmed the increase in train activity after the match of the Greens against the Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday at 22:00.
"Maccabi fans and fans Dear Haifa!
I know that there is an important game in two days and apart from winning, it is important to have a way to get to it and return from it safely," tweeted Minister Michaeli. "That is why we stopped the train electrification works, we will increase the train's activity so that you will have service both on the way and especially on the way back, and as much of it as possible.
So take public transportation, the winning way."
There will also be special trains.

The Ministry of Transportation announced: "Due to the importance of the game, and the thousands of fans who are expected to come from the central region, Israel Railways will suspend the works for the construction of the electric rail network and will operate special trains at the end of the game towards Tel Aviv.
"At the end of the game, special trains will be operated in a full system and travel from the Haifa station to the Carmel station Hagana in Tel Aviv through the coastal line stations, as well as special trains to Nahariya, with a stop at the intermediate stations.
Also, Israel Railways will provide additional trains that will be operated if necessary and according to demand.
