Due to a demonstration by disabled people's organizations that takes place at the intersection of the Mesila Road near Atlit, train traffic in the section of the railway between Hof Hacarmel and Binyamina stations has been stopped, and there are changes and delays in train traffic.

For the time being and temporarily, trains from the north will end at Haifa Hof Hacarmel, and trains from the south will end at Binyamina station.

There may also be delays throughout the train network following the incident.

Passengers are advised to avail of alternative public transport services.

Israeli train and police teams are on the scene.

Eyal Cohen, leader of the disabled struggle and leader of the "Disabled people become panthers" group: "The 'disabled people become panthers' group are currently blocking the train tracks at the Atlit meeting and locking their wheelchairs to each other. "The long time we are waiting for money, so the struggle for the disabled is taking another step, we say and uphold, we will turn the country around for you."

He added that "the railways will become disabled car parks and this is going to happen soon. Today we handcuffed the wheelchairs and we promise to return to the beginning of the 2018 struggle. "We are not interested in politics. We are interested in justice and integrity, so we will be on the ground as long as the disabled in the State of Israel do not receive from the Ministry of Finance and the Israeli government what they are legally entitled to. This is our protest and it will continue."

Lavi Naor, a spokesman for the disability struggle groups, said that as long as the delay in transferring the disabled public funds to their accounts continues, the disability protest will continue and even intensify. "
