Troyes validated his ticket for Ligue 1 this Saturday, winning against Dunkirk (2-0) on the penultimate day of the season.
The Trojans can no longer be caught up by Clermont and ESTAC therefore won the second Ligue 2 title in its history.
By winning against Sochaux (3-1), the Clermontois take a big step towards the direct rise even if the victory of Toulouse against Caen (3-0) leaves the possibility of Téfécé to go up to a point before the last day (Toulouse has a game late).
At the other end of the standings, Chambly got back to Caen thanks to his victory against Pau (1-0).
Tied on point before the 38th day Chambly and Caen will fight for 19th, synonymous with direct relegation to the National, and 18th place, synonymous with play-offs.
