A renowned trumpeter, Guy Touvron, targeted by a complaint from a 25-year-old musician, was indicted on June 17 for sexual assault and placed under judicial control, we learned this Friday from a judicial source, confirming a information given Thursday by the Journal de Saône-et-Loire (JSL).
"He is presumed innocent," his lawyer, Me Florence Rouas, reminded AFP, stressing that these accusations were "damn prejudicial to his career".
Known in Saône-et-Loire for having been at the head of the Festival des Grandes heures de Cluny, where he regularly resides, Guy Touvron, a trumpeter with an international career, is indicted.

In 2020, the musician was convicted in a sexual assault case, according to the JSL.
At the beginning of May 2021, while a preliminary investigation for rape was opened after the complaint of the young woman, the music festival "Les Grandes heures de Cluny" announced that Mr. Touvron was resigning from his presidency, in particular to "devote himself to his defense ”.
