Oberding - The Oberding Tennis Club has elected a new management, or better said: its previous board has almost completely confirmed in office.

At the annual general meeting in the clubhouse, which was carried out in compliance with the 3G rules and an extremely small number of only 23 voting members, the new elections under the leadership of Oberding's Vice Mayor Anton Nussrainer were merely a matter of form.

Chairwoman Ute Attenberger was confirmed in her absence, as was her deputy Stefan Neumeier, who moderated the meeting, and Manuela Brandl. Only the youth welfare office remains orphaned. The previous tour stopped in the spring for professional and private reasons. Vice Neumeier and youth coach Olaf Heid had temporarily taken over the tasks. The TCO is now looking for a succession plan through the formation of a youth management team.

Due to Corona, so Neumeier in the annual report, there was "not that much going on" in 2020 and 2021.

The season started late, "Wine festival, summer festival and Christmas party have unfortunately been canceled." Nevertheless, thanks to a good team of trainers and more offers, the TCO can look forward to a "huge increase" in children, so that the club has now increased its membership to 270.

In addition, there were a number of honors: the two festival attendants Christine Hochstetter and Manuela Brandl as well as the youth attendants Felizitas Hiesgen and Jasmin Gaenge were officially adopted from the committee with a bouquet of flowers.

Toni Schreiber jun. Was given a special honor. grant, who was made an honorary member. Neumeier said in his laudation, whether as an active person through all age groups, 2nd chairman (17 years), IT manager, in previous years as a youth trainer or most recently as groundskeeper. The vice praised the achievements of the founding member: “You could always call Toni when questions about the club came up. He was involved in all projects and renovations and has earned this appointment. ”The members agreed to the proposal of the board of directors, and Schreiber jun. received - significantly on his birthday - a certificate with lots of applause. "I've got enough board members through," said the honorable thanks with a laugh.

The following were also honored for their long-term loyalty to the TCO: Christine Hochstetter (10 years), Marina Scherz (15), Manuela Brandl, Günter Daimer (20 each), Olaf Heid (25), Robert Maier and Stefan Neumeier (35 each).
