Today, the Turkish Ministry of Health announced the registration of 62,797 new infections and 279 new deaths from the virus during the past 24 hours, in the largest daily death toll since the start of the pandemic.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying that the number of HIV infections in Turkey exceeded four million, while the number of deaths rose to 34,737.
