The deputy of the Turkish opposition Peoples' Democratic Party, Garo Paylan, called on the head of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to step down from his post immediately.
The Turkish newspaper, Zaman, quoted Baylan as saying that "Erdogan is making the country poorer day by day," warning that purchasing power is getting lower every day.
Paylan called for getting rid of the one-man system and expediting the holding of early elections due to the current deteriorating economic conditions in the country.
The Turkish lira plunged to its lowest level ever after statements by the head of the Turkish regime in which he opposed any interest rate increases despite inflation rates.
