Two seriously injured in an accident hit and ran near Kfar Saba Israel today

Two men in their 30s were seriously injured this morning (Sunday) in a car accident that the police are investigating about whether it was a hit-and-run accident.

The accident occurred around 05:35, when Magen David Adom received a report of a motorcycle accident on Road 5504 from Kibbutz Nir Eliyahu near Kfar Saba in the direction of Eyal.

MDA medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene of the accident gave the two motorcyclists medical treatment and evacuated them to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba with severe injuries to their limbs.

The MDA paramedics who arrived at the scene, Ohad Bain and Younes Haj Yahya, said: "The two wounded were lying on the road at a great distance from each other and from the motorcycle while they were conscious and suffering severe injuries to their limbs.

We immediately began testing and life-saving medical treatment, which included placing arterial blockages in order to stop the bleeding.

We put them in the mobile for intensive care and evacuated them for further treatment at the hospital, when the condition of one of them was unstable. "

Sharon traffic inspectors at the police began investigating the circumstances of the accident in an attempt to locate the driver of the vehicle that hit the motorcycle and fled the scene.

Examiners arrived at the scene and collected findings as part of the investigation.
