Military disaster in Ukraine:
Antonov 26 military transport plane crashed this evening (Friday) near the city of Chuhoyev in Kharkiv Oblast.
Two survivors, 22 dead and four other missing were found at the scene.
According to media reports in the country, the plane was operated by the Military Academy of Aviation in the city of Kharkov and the dead are school cadets and instructors.
According to photos from the scene of the incident, the plane appears to have crashed near a main road.
The Ukrainian presidency said an independent commission of inquiry would be set up to look into the cause of the crash in the east of the country.
The committee will recommend appropriate steps that the government and the military should take.
