In Mariupol, Russian troops continue to block Ukrainian defense units in the Azovstal steel plant, continuing to launch attacks from the air and with artillery.

This was noted by the General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces in the latest update on military operations, according to Ukrinform.

Also in the south of the country, Russian troops are regrouping to resume the offensive on Barvinkove (in the Kharkiv oblast near Dombass) and Sloviansk (in Donetsk) and continue to carry out the offensive in the directions of Lyman, Sievierodonetsk, Avdiivka and Kurakhove, all towns of Donetsk.

"In the direction of Sloviansk, the enemy opened fire on the Ukrainian defense forces, trying in vain to break through the defense line. They are replenishing the losses and regrouping to resume an offensive on Barvinkove and Sloviansk", explains the General Staff of the Kiev army.

In the north, in the directions of Volyn and Polissia, the Russian troops have not made "active actions, but the threat of missile and air attacks from the Belarusian territory persists".
