The winner of the 66th Eurovision Song Contest has finally been determined.
The Ukraine can win the evening and take home the coveted ESC trophy!
Turin, Italy - A long evening from the Eurovision Song Contest (here all ESC news on the topic page) comes to an end.
After a long back and forth, the winner has finally been determined.
Ukraine wins the ESC 2022!
Close race for Ukraine, Sweden, Great Britain and Spain
25 countries hope for the ESC victory 2022 '(here all countries that participate).
For a while, the top favorites were Ukraine, Sweden and Great Britain.
But in the final scoring, the tide seems to have turned at first.
Great Britain, Spain and Serbia make up the top three.
Only Germany hopes in vain for points.
In the scoring (everything about scoring at the ESC) of the 40 countries, Malik Harris is in last place with his song "Rockstars".
All countries pass him, only he can't get any points.
Malik was not well received by the audience either, which is why Germany ended up in last place this year.
The Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Ukraine in 2023
After all countries have awarded their points and the votes from the audience voting have been added up, the winner of the 66th ESC has finally been determined.
Ukraine gets 631 votes and thus wins the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. So hopefully next year the contest will take place in Ukraine and in peace.
A spectacular evening!
Unfortunately, only Germany went away again empty-handed.
Anyone who would like to review the evening can read the entire ESC evening again in the live ticker.
