Under the patronage of President Lieutenant General Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, and on the occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Air Force and Air Defense Day, today celebrated the graduation of a new batch of students from the Air College in its three institutes (Air - Technical - Navigation). .

After the guard of honor was reviewed, the celebration began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of our righteous martyrs, then the national anthem of the Syrian Arab Republic was played.

The Major General, the representative of the Commander in Chief, delivered a speech in which he conveyed President al-Assad's congratulations and wishes to the graduates success in performing their noble national tasks that await them alongside their valiant comrades, the protectors of the earth and honor and the vultures of our dear sky.

The representative of the sponsor of the celebration affirmed, "We were able to stand like a towering hill in the face of the global and regional forces of terrorism, which were unable to achieve their aggressive aims and objectives."

The Director of the Air College also gave a speech in which he spoke about the importance of science, qualitative training and advanced military knowledge, and called on the graduating students to acquire more military knowledge that does not stop at a certain limit and to raise the level of training to be more able to face dangers and challenges.

After that, the ceremony of handing over and receiving the flag took place, then the graduates took the military oath, followed the order of success, and the approval of the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces to name their course after the heroic martyr, First Air Technician Lieutenant Ibrahim Najib Abu Deeb, in appreciation of the martyrdom and in honor of the righteous martyrs.

After that, symbolic gifts were distributed to the graduates, then the first student presented the course shield to the representative of the sponsor of the celebration, as a token of loyalty and sincerity. The course shield was presented to the families of the martyr as a token of loyalty to the blood of the martyrs.
