At around 10:35 p.m., a 56-year-old collided with several warning beacons and the external guardrail shortly after the Regensburg * motorway junction.
A few hundred meters further his car came to a stop with a punctured tire, as the Regensburg traffic police * wrote.

But nobody was injured.
The 56-year-old driver was presumably under the influence of alcohol.
After the officers noticed such a smell on him, the man tried to flee - but he only got a few hundred meters.

The officers ensured his driver's license and also carried out a blood test.
It had to be temporarily closed to clean the road.
The total damage to the vehicles, the crash barrier and the warning beacons was around 20,200 euros.
