The number of job seekers in category A (without activity) in mainland France recorded a drop of 1.4% in the second quarter of 2021, or 50,100 fewer registrations, to stand at 3,510,500 people.
This drop is 15.3% over one year, according to figures from the Ministry of Labor published on Tuesday noon.
Including reduced activity (categories B and C), the number of people registered with Pôle Emploi stood at 5,688,700 in the second quarter, and recorded a decrease of 0.5% over the second quarter, and of 2, 1% over one year.
