After the deadly attack in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi, the air defense intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles in a renewed attack.
Parts of it fell in different areas of the metropolis, the Ministry of Defense said.
There were no victims.
It was the second attack on Abu Dhabi claimed by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in a week.
Houthi military spokesman Jahja Sari said the insurgents had used ballistic missiles and drones to attack targets in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
They are ready to intensify their attacks there.
The Emirates have become an "unsafe country".
Foreign companies and investors are therefore recommended to leave the Gulf State.
The Houthis also attacked the Al-Dhafra airbase, where US fighter jets are based.
Hub in international air traffic
Around 1.5 million people live in Abu Dhabi.
Like Dubai, the city is a hub in international air traffic as well as an important trading center and location for foreign companies.
For Germany, the Emirates, together with Turkey and Saudi Arabia, form the most important export market in the Arab world.
More than 800 German companies have a branch in the country.
Saudi Arabia has been fighting with the Emirates and other allies against the Houthis insurgents in Yemen since 2015.
A week ago, they claimed responsibility for an attack on the international airport and an oil facility in Abu Dhabi that killed three people.
The Houthis are supported by Iran and regularly attack targets in Saudi Arabia from Yemen.
So far, however, there have been hardly any attacks in the Emirates.
According to the UAE's defense ministry, Yemen's air force destroyed the device from which the missiles were launched towards Abu Dhabi.
"All necessary steps" would be taken to protect the Emirates from any attacks.
