A U.S. Medicines Agency (FDA) advisory committee voted on Friday against a third dose of Pfizer's Covid vaccine for all people aged 16 and over, a move that should be widely interpreted as a setback for the administration of Joe Biden.

Experts invited to decide
The latter has indeed announced a recall campaign for all Americans who received their second dose eight months previously, on condition that the FDA approves it. The American experts, however, considered that a third dose could be justified for a smaller age group, namely for the elderly.
