(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, MAY 22 - Taiwan will not be part of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework, the United States initiative that will be presented tomorrow in Tokyo by American President Joe Biden.
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said this in a press briefing aboard Air Force One.
"Taiwan is not part of the list of countries covered by the agreement," he explained.
"But we still intend to deepen our economic cooperation with Taiwan, especially in the high technology, semiconductor and supply chain sectors."
