According to the New York Times, Robert Frank (US photographer) died on Nov. 9 in Nova Scotia, Canada. I was 94 years old.
Born in Switzerland in 1924. I moved to New York at the age of 23. The photo book “The Americans (American)” published in France in 1958 and in the United States in 1959 had a great influence on the subsequent photographic world. The photograph taken was described as “movie-like”, and it seemed unnatural, but the viewpoint that captured the characteristics of the subject attracted attention. (New York)
