Trump Announces Disconnection with Organization, Accusing China of Corona Responsibility • "Sanctions for Hong Kong Autonomy"

Trump v. China: United States President Donald Trump announced Friday a number of international resolutions, which mean severing ties with the World Health Organization, and worsening relations with China.

At a press conference this evening at the White House, the president blamed the World Health Organization for failing to deal with the spread of the Corona epidemic because of what he defined as China's control of the organization.

The US President then blamed China for hiding the virus and damaging the international effort to deal with it, while preventing an outbreak in provinces outside of Wahan. Trump announced that as a result, the United States would sever its ties with the organization, transferring funding to it to U.S. research institutes that fight the virus.

The president then blamed China for violating Hong Kong's autonomy, after China passed a law that allowed it to intervene more widely in the island's domestic affairs under its control but autonomous status. Trump added that the law undermines China's obligations to the international community - after the giant state pledged itself when it took over the city to allow it significant autonomy.

Following the violation of Hong Kong autonomy, Trump announced his intention to revoke the special trade agreements granted to Hong Kong and even impose sanctions on Chinese officials involved in the violation of Hong Kong autonomy.
