(ANSA) - NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 14 - Broadway reopens.
After an 18-month stop due to Covid, the longest in its history, some of the major productions - including The Lion King and Hamilton - start again.
While they are not the first shows to return to the scene, the shows that raised the curtain are productionally large and important that they have become a symbol of the strength of the industry.
Their resumption is then read as the official opening of Broadway theaters.
