Eight people were killed today (Saturday) when a man in an army uniform entered a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, and started shooting at shoppers, according to a report by NBC - which quoted sources in local law enforcement.
According to a CNN report, there are several victims in the incident, and the shooter was arrested by police.
The shooter, who was wearing an army uniform or some kind of protective vest, entered a branch of the "Formal Friendly Market" chain on Avenue Avenue in the city, shortly after 2:30 pm local time (9:30 pm Israel time), and shot at least eight people, according to The sources.
Officials have not released details on the type of weapon the shooter used.
The public in the area was asked not to come to the store while the police investigated.
