(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, APR 20 - The person killed in the shooting in a supermarket on Long Island is a 49-year-old employee. The police reported that at the time of the attack inside the shop there were about 200 customers.
The assailant used a short weapon. The shots took place inside the manager's office, on the upper floor of the club.
The attacker fled and law enforcement agencies are searching, while neighboring schools have entered 'lockdown' and residents have been asked to stay under cover.
